Hypnotist Wayne Lee "Set Your Career GPS for Success"

This year we are thrilled to have the brilliant hypnotist show and keynote by Wayne Lee, helping youth "Set Your Career GPS for Success"!  The show kicks off the entire event at 1 pm. Many people find it difficult to make the connection between the inner goings on of your mind and the outward action of your performance, yet it’s critical to your success. Regardless of your dream job, the keys to hitting your goals, whether it is in sales, communication, or leadership, is finding ways to overcome your fear of failure and rejection that lead to procrastination, poor communication and performance. In 1 Hour you will learn the 3 simple steps to build a winning mind set to hit your job, career and education goals and targets with clarity and confidence.

Hosted by CTV's Josh Classen

We're thrilled to have Josh Classen back as our YOUth POWER 7 host and MC for the day! As Chief Meteorologist on CTV, you can catch Josh on TV every night of the week talking weather, and representing out community. Aside from his incredible career in the entertainment industry, he has a unique connection to the power of music which we love, as a semi-retired hip-hop artist with legit rhyming skills. Meet with Josh onsite, and ask him questions of your own about breaking into the entertainment industry. Find out how he hustled and worked hard to achieve what he has today.

Live Performance by Paul Woida

Check out the live performance to kick off our formal stage program at 1 PM by the talented Paul Woida. Paul Woida is a singer/song writer/master looper (a “ looper” records and plays back pieces of music using instruments and voice in real time creating multiple layers). Having graduated from Grant MacEwan University in both Composition and Drum Set, he has the exceptional ability to combine complex rhythms and harmony which, via the looper, result in a sound close to that of a full band.

He is often compared to Ed Sheeran, Jason Mraz and Jeff Buckley and has a unique live show which turns heads and wins the hearts of new fans wherever he goes. His incredible musicianship, catchy hooks and emotive vocals are unforgettable once experienced.
